Dear Valued Patients and Families,

We are thrilled to announce an exciting new chapter in our journey. As many of you know, our clinic, formerly known as Active Spine and Joint Center, is now Active Sports Therapy. While our name has changed, we remain the same dedicated team committed to providing the highest level of nonsurgical care. My wife, Cassie, put it perfectly, “We’re just putting on a new shirt that fits us better. We’re the same great team delivering exceptional care.” This perfectly captures our vision for this transition.

Our story began 22 years ago when I experienced a sports injury and noticed the disjointed nature of the local medical community. This inspired us to return to Hendersonville with a mission: to integrate closely with local healthcare providers and athletic trainers to offer our athletes and patients the highest quality care and quick access to a high-quality network of providers when necessary.

Fifteen years ago, we opened our doors in a humble 1,000-square-foot office, driven by a commitment to provide the best care possible. Since then, it has been an absolute honor to serve the Hendersonville and greater Nashville areas. We have grown tremendously, expanding to a great 6,000-square-foot rehab facility. Our team, which started with just Cassie and me, has blossomed into a dynamic group of dedicated professionals.

One of our proudest achievements has been becoming a teaching facility for five different chiropractic universities. We are honored to mentor and welcome student doctors who are eager to learn and contribute to our community. This educational commitment not only enhances our team but also enriches the care we can provide to you.
In addition to our clinical achievements, I am proud to serve as the Vice President of the Tennessee Board of Chiropractic Examiners. This role is a testament to the incredible support and excellence that our team is able to provide.

Hendersonville has been wonderful to us, and we are grateful for the opportunity to help so many athletes of all ages, as well as their families, parents, and grandparents. We have seen several of our early patients join the professions of chiropractic and physical therapy, and we love welcoming the many talented Smart Steps dancers who visit us in our rebuilt facility.

This is just the beginning. Active Sports Therapy has exciting plans for the future, and we look forward to continuing to serve you with the same dedication and excellence.
