Do I need a specific license or certification to apply as a Chiropractic Assistant?
No license needed to begin. As a Chiropractic Assistant, you’re our starting point. We’re seeking individuals who excel at aiding others. We’re dedicated to fostering your development and investing in your skills for a fulfilling journey toward becoming a licensed Chiropractic Therapist Assistant.
Are part-time positions available?
At times, we offer part-time seasonal positions, ideal for students eager to gain practical experience alongside their studies.
Do you accept student interns?
Our clinic is unique in the area, as we take an integrated team approach to patient healthcare. We regularly work with schools like Logan University, Parker University, and National University of Health Sciences to provide hands-on, relevant experience that will help future providers excel.
Do you accept high-school or undergrad students for internship?
We welcome undergraduate and high school student interns on a case-by-case basis. Experience a brief shadowing opportunity with us and gain valuable insights into your future endeavors.
Are there opportunities for growth and advancement?

My preceptorship at Active Spine and Joint Center was the perfect culmination of my chiropractic education, weekend seminars, and my clinical management of cases. Jason and his staff have a system that should be the gold standard for any musculoskeletal clinic. I can honestly say I would still be lost as a clinician if it weren’t for my preceptorship at ASJC. My transition from my preceptorship to full time clinician was seamless.
In school, I was a seminar junkie always looking for something new to learn but when it came to treating patients I did not know how and when to apply my skills. I felt like I was randomly throwing darts and hoping something would stick and work.
Enter Jason, Cassie, and their staff at ASJC!
Their evaluation process teaches you not only to diagnosis the medical and functional diagnosis but also shows you which areas of the body that you need to treat. It’s so thorough that at the end of the evaluation you know which joints or tissues you need to mobilize and which areas you need to stabilize and create a better movement pattern. You will never second guess you diagnosis and skills again.
My preceptorship at ASJC not only prepared me clinically but it helped launch my own private practice myself. I use the systems learned at ASJC for my current clinic and it made my transition into clinic owner as smooth as possible. Their systems allow for our clinic to scale but still provide a thorough and comprehensive visit with our patients.
Accepting the preceptorship at ASJC was the single most important event in my life. It was the stepping stone to where I am today. I owe my success to Jason, Cassie, and the ASJC staff.
PS. They also know how to have fun and you will always be in a good mood when at the clinic. The environment is second to know.
